When it's said that Joinville becomes the Dance Capital
in July, this is exactly what happens. The city gets ready
to receive dancers and tourists from all over Brazil and
abroad, attracted by the event, and provides the opportunity
of watching spectacles in squares, shopping centers, companies
and other locations, free of charge.
In the same way groups participating in the Competitive
Presentation are selected there is also a specific selection
process for the Outside Stages, with groups from all over
the country vying for a space to present their art. The
varied timetables of these performances attract people
who are out walking or returning from work, or even those
visiting the city to enjoy the charm of one of the most
Germanic municipalities the state of Santa Catarina has
to offer. Without doubt, this is an example of democratization
of art, available to all. |
