| 24th Joinville Dance Festival -
19 to 29 July 2006 |
| Contemporary Dance / Presentation |
 |
Included in the Joinville Dance Festival premises is that
of providing the public with differentiated performances,
challenging ones, that probably haven't even been seen
by the majority of the participants. And filling this
space in the event is the Contemporary Dance Exhibition,
which, over a period of three nights, brings the Juarez
Machado Theater - an intimate stage for 500 spectators
only, located in the Centreventos Cau Hansen - vanguard
spectacles, of differentiated languages. This is where
young choreographers break through barriers, interact
with the public, often making them a part of the performance,
and prove that the dancer's body is ready to overcome
the frontiers that challenge both science and logic.
Participants in the Contemporary Dance Exhibition are
professional companies and are chosen through a selection
process, in accordance with the regulations available
on this site. All participants in this event receive a
name tag and help with transport, food and accommodation
expenses. |
