Organization
In 1999, the Cultural Foundation of Joinville (FCJ) created
the Joinville Dance Festival Institute whose objectives are
to conduct the Festival and promote dance in Brazil. Its current
structure involves:
Deliberative Council
This council is responsible for analyzing and approving suggestions
and activities coming from the Consulting Council and from
the Executive Coordination, made up by the presidency and
board of directors of the Joinville Cultural Foundation.

Executive Coordination
This body is responsible for organizing the Festival, which
includes management of the entire event, including the technical
and artistic part. Their duties involve execution of the Mecenato
project and arranging for sponsorship, the hiring of suppliers
and divulgence of the event.

Consulting Council
The task of the members of this council is to consider actions
for the Festival based on a winning model. It is made up of
dance professionals who contribute through suggestions concerning
the technical and artistic aspects, indicating names of guest
groups, teachers and judges, and help in the drawing up of
the regulations, courses and competition nights. Based on
their experience, the council members also conduct a critical
analysis of previous Festivals, contributing with information
about other festivals, foreign ones in particular.
